Lastrick - Keep on playing (DVD)
Lastrick son un grupo de Madrid formado por cuatro amigos que en el invierno de 1.994 decidieron ponerse a tocar la música que les gustaba. Lo que en un principio empezó como una forma de pasar el rato fue convirtiéndose con el tiempo en una parte importante de sus vidas hasta el punto de que, a día de hoy y casi sin darse cuenta, levan ya más de quince años tocando, siempre con la misma formación.
En el DVD se ven doce de esos años que dan para mucho y en los que no se han conseguido grandes éxitos comerciales, pero que les han permitido vivir muchas experiencias, unas muy buenas y otras no tan buenas. Entre las mejores, los viajes que han hecho, la gente que hanconocido, los ratos de diversión encima y debajo de un escenario y, sobre todo, el simple hecho de seguir en esto, los mismos que empezaron pero más viejos y, según algunos, tocando mejor. Las malas las dejamos para otro día.
Creciendo y envejeciendo en esta historia, miran atrás y ven cómo la mayoría de los grupos que se movían cuando empezaron hoy ya no existen. Lastrick siguen aquí haciendo punk-rock y confían en seguir mucho más tiempo.
Lastrick is a band from Madrid (Spain) started by four friends that in the winter of 1994 decided to start playing the music they liked. What in the begining started as a way of killing time was turning into an important part of their lifes to the point that today and almost without realizing they´ve been playing for more than fifteen years, always with the same lineup.
In this DVD we can see twelve of these years with much to tell, and much to show that have allowed them to live many experiences, some of them good and others not so good. Among the best ones, the trips they´ve made, the people they´ve met, the good fun on and around the stage and, over all, the simple fact of going on with this, the same ones that started it but older and, according to a few, playing better. The bad experiences? We’ll leave those for another day.
Growing older, they look back and see how the majority of the bands that were working when they started don´t exist today. They remain here playing punk-rock and trust that they'll continue for much longer.
